The Iranian Bioinformatics Society (IBIS) intends to hold the first international conference and the 10th National Bioinformatics Conference of Iran in cooperation with University of Tehran Kish International Campus and Tehran University of Medical Sciences Kish International Campus on February 22-24, 2022 at University of Tehran Kish International Campus on Kish Island. Iranian Bioinformatics Conferences are the largest in the field of computational biology in Iran. The Iranian Bioinformatics Society has held 9 national conferences since 2003: University of Tehran (4 events), National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (2 events), Tarbiat Modares University (1 event), Zabol University (1 event), and School of Biological Sciences on Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (1 event). As an interdisciplinary and emerging scientific field, bioinformatics requires interaction and interrelationships with other sciences. The main purpose of holding this Conference is to create a suitable platform for discussion and exchange of views between researchers and scholars, presenting the latest scientific achievements in various fields, holding symposiums, specialized meetings, workshops, transfer of experience and know-how among those interested in bioinformatics. Therefore, all professors, scientists, researchers, students interested in bioinformatics are invited to attend this important event. It is hoped that ICB Conference will help to enhance the experiences and direct and face-to-face communication of researchers and students active in the field of bioinformatics.
