Abstract:
Hepatocellular carcinoma is a type of primary liver cancer.HCC is the sixth most common cancer in the world and the third leading cause of cancer deaths. The most important cause of death in patients with HCC is more than 80% of cronic hepatitis B or hepatitis C in fection and long _term use of aflatoxin. One of the characteristics of this malignancy is the high rate of progression of this disease HCC is a malignant tumor with a poor diagnosis that surgery and liver transplantation have been the two main treatments that can be preformed only in the early stages.
Objective: The aim of this study was to identify key genes, biological pathways and new drug targets using appropriate bioinformatics toola to combat hepatocellular carcinoma.
Methods: in this study microarray expressive data downloaded from GEO database was used, which used GEO2R online server to analyze the data.protein interaction was also potted using a network analysis criteria were preformed using cytoscape software using the centiscape plugin analysis of gene categories was also obtained using a metascape. finally, 9 key genes were identified ,including CCNA2, CCNB1, TYMS, EZH2, PCNA, CDK1, CAT, ESR1, ALB.
Also different key pathways have been identifided that are associated with hepatocellular carcinoma.identification of these genes and key pathways involved in hcc discovering the disease mechanism and appropriate drug targets.
